Information about receiving your artwork.
At Wendy Laverick Art, every artwork is prepared with care. Whether you're ordering a fine art print or a hand-embellished canvas, I want your artwork to arrive safely and in beautiful condition.
UK Shipping
All UK orders are sent using an appropriate tracked delivery service.
Standard Tracked Delivery: £4.95 for orders under £85.
FREE Standard Tracked Delivery on UK orders of £85 or more.
Delivery charges are confirmed at checkout.
Preparation & Delivery Times
As my artwork is made to order, preparation times vary depending on the type of artwork purchased.
Fine Art Prints
Fine art prints are produced to order and carefully checked and packaged before dispatch. Please allow approximately 5–7 working days for UK orders to be prepared and delivered, although I always aim to send orders sooner wherever possible.
Hand-Embellished Canvases
Each canvas is ordered and, once received, individually hand-embellished by me in my Chepstow studio before being carefully packaged. Please allow approximately 7–10 working days for preparation and dispatch, with delivery time additional.
Please note: Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays. During particularly busy periods, preparation and delivery may take longer.
Multiple Item Orders
If you order more than one artwork, your items may occasionally arrive in separate deliveries. Where possible, I will arrange for your artworks to be dispatched together.
Can My Order Be Expedited?
If you need your artwork for a particular date, please contact me before placing your order. Although I cannot guarantee expedited delivery, I will always do my best to help.
European Shipping
I ship to France, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria. You can order to these countries directly at checkout.
European delivery is tracked and charged by the weight of your order:
- £14.95 – unframed prints and cards
- £39.95 – framed prints and small canvases
- £59.95 – medium canvases
- £89.95 – large canvases
Your exact delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay. European delivery normally takes 5–10 working days after dispatch, although customs processing and local delivery services can add time.
Shipping Outside the UK and Europe
For delivery anywhere else, including the USA, Canada and Australia, please email info@wendylaverick.com before ordering and I'll send you a delivery quote.
Customs Duties, Import VAT & Taxes
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, local taxes and courier handling or clearance fees charged by the destination country. These charges are not included in the artwork price or the shipping price.
These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are paid to the courier or customs authority, usually on delivery. Wendy Laverick Ltd is not responsible for, and cannot pay or refund, any customs duties, taxes or handling fees.
Please check your country's import rules before ordering.
Refused or Uncollected International Parcels
If an international parcel is refused, not collected, or held because customs or handling charges have not been paid, it may be returned to me, or it may be destroyed or abandoned by the carrier or customs authority.
- If the parcel is returned to me, I will refund the price of the artwork once it arrives back with me in its original condition. The original shipping charge, the cost of the return, and any charges I am billed by the carrier will be deducted.
- If the parcel is not returned to me, for example because it is destroyed or abandoned, no refund can be given.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery Delays
Occasionally, delays may occur because of circumstances outside my control, including supplier delays, courier disruption or customs processing. If I become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the available options.
Delivery Information
Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are accurate when placing your order. Your artwork will be carefully packaged to protect it during transit. For consumer purchases, responsibility for the artwork passes to you when it is delivered into your physical possession, or that of someone you have nominated to receive it.
Christmas & Special Occasions
If you are buying artwork as a Christmas gift or for another special occasion, I recommend ordering as early as possible, particularly for hand-embellished canvases and orders outside the UK.
