Information about returns and exchanges.

At Wendy Laverick Art, I take great care in preparing and packaging every artwork. I want you to be completely happy with your purchase.

1. Our 28-Day Returns Policy

We offer a 28-day returns policy from the date your order is delivered.

If you change your mind about your purchase, you may request a return within 28 days of receiving your artwork, subject to the conditions below.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

  • The artwork must be unused and in its original condition.
  • It must be securely packaged, preferably using its original protective packaging.
  • You must contact us within 28 days of delivery to request a return.
  • You must return the artwork within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to return it, unless we agree otherwise.
  • Customers are responsible for the cost of returning change-of-mind purchases, unless otherwise agreed.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service appropriate to the value of the artwork and retaining proof of postage.

Our 28-day policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

2. Your Statutory Right to Cancel

For most online purchases, UK consumers have a legal right to cancel their order without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel within that period.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods and the applicable original standard delivery charge. Additional charges for an upgraded delivery service are not refundable.

  • We may make a deduction for any reduction in the artwork's value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

3. Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns

Certain products may be excluded from our voluntary returns policy or statutory cancellation rights, where legally permitted.

These may include:

  • Personalised artwork: Items made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you.
  • Commissioned artwork: Bespoke artwork created specifically to your requirements.
  • Gift cards: Subject
