Check out Wendys Hare of Hearts, a delightful new painting featuring a whimsical character. The brown hare, believed to have been brought to the UK by the Romans or even earlier, is now considered a naturalized species. These hares are commonly found in open farmland, grassy areas, and woodland edges, where they prefer a mix of arable fields, grasses, and hedgerows. They feed on vegetation as well as the bark of young trees and bushes.
 
The original painting is ink and watercolour on paper.
